Vehris has released The Legend of Teklara as Free Software under the terms of the GNU General Public License, and as such is no longer requiring payment for downloading the game.

The final build of the second beta for Teklara has been released to developers and testers. This build contains many API changes, map fixes, and other bug fixes. After extensive testing on the developer end, we are confident this should be the last beta before release.
The first beta for The Legend of Teklara is now complete and is being sent off to beta testers. We are happy to finally be able to taste progress. A few core elements are still missing, but all the functionality to test the game is in place. The next beta should be released in a couple of months.
Vehris is proud to officially announce that plans are underway for the development of a new adventure game called The Legend of Teklara. The Vehris team has been developing code for over a year, but we are now getting close to being able to produce a product. This 2D adventure game is being written in Java and should provide a fun and nostalgic experience for the gamer who remembers playing similar games years ago.
